Configuring The Bat! For Your Account.

1. Open The Bat!
2. If you are using The Bat! for the first time you will get this prompt.

Select "I want to create a new account" and click next
3. Next type in an Account name. IE the e-mail address you are setting up.

4. Next type in your name and the e-mail address you are setting up.

5. Next type in your SMTP and POP settings. Make sure to replace
mail.yourdomain.com with your actual domain.

6. Next put in your account's username in the format listed below and the pop
account's password. If this account is your main e-mail account you can just put
in your account's main username and password.

7. After you do the steps listed above go into the Options area and then the
Transport area on the left side and then click authentication.

8. After that check the box that says Perform SMTP authentication (RFC 2554)
You can try using the settings below. If they do not work try checking the use
"POP before SMTP authentication" box.

If this still does not allow you to send e-mail, it is suggested you put in your
ISP's SMTP servers.
If this not work for you it is suggested that you use another e-mail client.
